The 2015 Ford Focus, debuted at the Geneva Auto Show.

Ford redesigned the grille and hood on the 2015 Ford Focus and when combined with the signature headlights it will make a more stylish than ever Focus. The inside is getting redone as well in terms of interior color options and materials, providing a more modern contemporary look and feel.

“We have taken the title of world’s best-selling nameplate to impressive new heights with the redesigned Focus,” said Joe Hinrichs, Ford executive vice president and president of The Americas said in a Ford press release. “Its combination of compelling, modern design and the most high-tech interior in the class will appeal to contemporary consumers who desire a small car with very sophisticated features.”

An additional major change to the 2015 Ford Focus is an option to have the two-time International Engine of the Year in 2012 and 2013, the EcoBoost® 1.0L engine. With this engine, the Focus will continue to offer great fuel efficiency and power.

New technology will also be part of the updated 2015 Ford Focus, including an available lane-keeping system and Blind Spot Information System. With the all-new Focus available in the second half of 2014 be sure to stop in and see us at Highway Ford for all the details.

Man of Aluminum? 2015 F-150 Challenges Tradition

Move over Man of Steel because the 2015 Ford F-150 is more like a Man of Aluminum. By now, you’ve probably heard that the 2015 Ford F-150 will have an aluminum body as opposed to the traditional steel frame which made the Ford F-Series the best-selling vehicle for the past 32 years. But what does it mean for you, the consumer?

Man of Aluminum

The “Man of Aluminum” 2015 Ford F-150

First of all, it means your new F-150 will be built more like a Bradley Fighting Vehicle than a traditional truck. The 6,000 series aluminum in some F-Series is military grade. In other words, it’s strong enough to protect American troops so it should be strong enough for your needs. However, not all the steel is gone, as the frames of the F-Series will be built using a steel roll-forming process to ensure a maximum weight to strength ratio.

Secondly, the 2015 Ford F-150 will be about 700 lbs. lighter than ever before. A lighter truck, coupled with Ford’s new 2.7-liter EcoBoost® engine means you’ll get all the towing capacity you’re used to but with fuel efficiency that’s likely to be found in a midsized sedan.
