Ford’s stellar lineup of performance vehicles is more popular than ever, and the numbers prove it. In fact, Ford performance cars are currently on track to break sales records this year, with tons of drivers snatching up the Ford Mustang, Ford Focus RS and ST, and Ford Fiesta ST.
More than 200,000 individual Ford performance cars are expected to be sold this year, all throughout the world, which is astonishingly more than twice the amount of Ford performance cars sold a few years ago.
And these sales aren’t expected to slow down anytime soon. Ford even has additional performance models planned for the future, with about half a dozen new performance vehicles slated to be released before the decade ends.
If you are interested in a Ford performance car, you should visit us before it is too late! Demand for the Shelby GT350 and GT350R is out of control, with an endless list of order commitments, and the Focus RS is almost entirely sold out, due to global interest.

Hennessey Performance has seriously raised the bar for the 2017 Ford Focus RS, increasing the horsepower and torque production in the already powerful vehicle from 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque to 405 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque.
Many would have said that the 350 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque was clearly enough, but there’s never enough for Hennessey Performance. And they did everything they could to make this beast of a car just a bit more beastly.
The Hennessey Performance Ford Focus RS package, HPE400, also comes with a long list of additional upgrades, including a high-flow air filter and a stainless steel exhaust upgrade which is aimed to make the vehicle’s exhaust even louder, just for the thrills.
As for just how quickly the Ford Focus RS can accelerate with this package, we do not know yet, but the basic version of the car already can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in a mere 4.6 seconds. There’s no telling just how powerful it could get with this package.

Just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its first 24 Hours of Le Mans victory in 1966, It has been announces that Ford is returning to le Mans in 2016. The American carmaker will enter Le Mans with a new race car based on the all-new Ford GT, which goes on sale next year.
After Ford’s win in 1966, it went on to claim victory in 1967, 1968, and 1969. Now, Ford wants to return to those glory days of racing.
“When the GT40 competed at Le Mans in the 1960s, Henry Ford II sought to prove Ford could beat endurance racing’s most legendary manufacturers,” said Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company in a statement. He goes on to say that, “we are still extremely proud of having won this iconic race four times in a row, and that same spirit that drove the innovation behind the first Ford GT still drives us today.”
And, in case you weren’t already excited, check out this heart-pounding video that shows the racecar morphing from its 1966 form into the new GT shape. Then it speeds through the Paris and the French countryside on its way to Le Mans. Keep watching to the end to catch a subtle jab at Ferrari.

A recent run-in with what looks to be the new 2017 Ford Fiesta RS has us very excited! Car and Driver recently spied the new Fiesta out and about and there were a few notable changes. The upgrades are mostly likely taking right after the Fiesta’s “big brother,” Ford Focus.
With the hotly anticipated performance based 2017 Ford Focus RS being introduced to the market, a few of its new features seemed to have made their way to the Fiesta. First, the RS badge is new to the Fiesta and will symbolize it as part of Ford’s new performance based lineup.
A few other major feature upgrades on the Fiesta are the large air inlets, fender flares, and noticeable intercooler. With its new performance getup, the Fiesta should also see an upgraded engine, transmission, and suspension.
Whatever the changes may be, we’re excited for the new Ford performance lineup and can’t wait to see what else is in store! To experience the new Ford lineup of cars, trucks, and SUVs, visit us Highway Ford!
