Among those new safety systems is Ford’s cross-traffic alert with braking technology, a systems that not only makes driving safer for the drivers, but also for the pedestrians around them.

2016 Ford Focus RS Pictured
Hennessey Performance has seriously raised the bar for the 2017 Ford Focus RS, increasing the horsepower and torque production in the already powerful vehicle from 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque to 405 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque.
Many would have said that the 350 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque was clearly enough, but there’s never enough for Hennessey Performance. And they did everything they could to make this beast of a car just a bit more beastly.
The Hennessey Performance Ford Focus RS package, HPE400, also comes with a long list of additional upgrades, including a high-flow air filter and a stainless steel exhaust upgrade which is aimed to make the vehicle’s exhaust even louder, just for the thrills.
As for just how quickly the Ford Focus RS can accelerate with this package, we do not know yet, but the basic version of the car already can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in a mere 4.6 seconds. There’s no telling just how powerful it could get with this package.

2017 Ford Escape
Ford it taking a new approach to reaching out to “Millennial’s” with a new game that is appealing to this generation’s love of games and puzzles. With this game, it wouldn’t be surprising if the 2017 Ford Escape became the Millennial’s Favorite SUV.
The Escape Experience sounds similar to those new breakout games that have started popping up all over the place. The idea is to use clues given in the game to help solve different puzzles and “escape”. The game takes place in New York, and your tools to help you escape are, of course, the 2017 Ford Escape. This game creates a virtual test drive like none you’ve ever experienced, and allows for young adults who enjoy playing games to test out the Ford Escape without have to travel to the dealership.
Perhaps the most compelling piece of this new Escape Room game is that you have to use the technology available in the Ford Escape in order to solve the puzzle to get out. Although, everyone loves technology and the sounds of things like “adaptive cruise control” and “voice-to-text with SYNC3” sound cool, this game allows for its users to actually see and use these technologies firsthand!
I don’t know about you, but here at Highway Ford, we would love to try out this new Escape Room game. Tell us your thoughts about how Ford is combine auto world with gaming world!
For the 2017 model year, Ford has built the new F-150 Raptor to be more maneuverable and capable than ever before, referring to it as the toughest and smartest F-150 Raptor ever. Part of what makes the off-roading pickup’s performance so great is the new F-150 Raptor Tires are custom-made just for this truck by BFGoodrich. These custom tires were developed exclusively to give the Raptor maximize ride comfort both on- and off-road and to optimize and improve performance capability.
BFGoodrich and Ford partnered up while the 2017 F-150 Raptor was still in development. That means that while Ford was building the pickup’s chassis, BFGoodrich was engineering the all-terrain T/A KO2 tires in tandem, so every part of the tires were designed to match the strength and capabilities of the F-150 Raptor’s underpinnings. More than a dozen variations of the tires were created and tested on the truck in order to ensure that they could withstand the extreme conditions and high-intensity power required of the F-150 Raptor pickup.
The BFGoodrich tires feature an all-new tread pattern with more tread area, wider channels between the tread, an enhanced contact patch, and large sidewall lugs. All of these design choices were made to optimize off-road performance while simultaneously allowing the tires to last longer with less wear and tear. The end result was chosen after logging hundreds of hours in computer simulations of how the all-terrain tires would behave in a real-world setting.
The new F-150 Raptor tires are being used on Ford’s Raptor race truck in the Best in the Desert race series. The custom all-terrain tires join a variety of other custom tires being created by Michelin for Ford’s performance car lineup, including the Focus RS and the new GT.
If you love the Ford F-150 truck in all its forms, be sure to stop by Highway Ford to check out the Ford F-150 today!
